Verizon realizes that the Covid-19 pandemic has made learning, access to technology and staying connected more crucial than ever for students.
Thus Verizon has rolled out a new initiative to help students adjust to remote learning.

The initiative strives to make sure students have access to technology and not fall behind. The initiative provides free technology, advanced curriculum and professional development. Along with 30 GB of free data access per month.

Verizon tripled the program’s per COVID-19 allotment to better meet the needs of remote students. Verizon Innovative Learning is the plan that has been helping over 100 schools in Houston and has already helped over 650 kids get connected and ready for remote learning.

This initiative is amazing to see executed because there are many cases where a child does not have access to work to their fullest capabilities due to a lack of hardware. Many students relied on coming to school to receive this technological access.

We would love to see more companies follow this example.
